HA GIANG, CAO BANG & BA BE TOUR

You will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi early in the morning (about 7.30 AM). This morning, you will travel to Sapa on the HW Noi Bai – Lao Cai. This is the longest highway in Vietnam. The scenic drive from the Red River Delta, through the midland to Lao Cai province will be a good start for your trip. Arrive in Sapa by noon. Have lunch at a restaurant in town. After that, we will transfer to a trekking point in Muong Hoa Valley. We will embark on a nice trek to Y Linh Ho Village and Lao Chai Village in Muong Hoa valley. Begin with a slope to the valley, the scenery of the rice terraces along your way is very beautiful and could be the highlight of the day. Cross the river on a small suspension bridge and continue on the trek uphill. This is rather challenging when it is wet but definitely offers you spectacular view over the valley. 
Finish your trek at Lao Chai Village where your private vehicle awaits you. Get picked up at the end and transfer back to the town for the night at a hotel. 

This morning, we will conquer the roof of Vietnam by cable car. Get transferred to the station and enjoy the incredible view of mountains, forest and cloud during the ride. This is the world's longest 3-rope cable car, stretching 6.3 kilometers. After the summit, we get back to the town and spend the afternoon drive to Bac Ha. Have a short stop at the border gate to China for taking photos.
Arrive at Bac ha, check into your hotel room and rest. Dinner and stay for the night. 

Today, you will spend most of the morning stroll around Bac Ha Market to hunt some good pictures. This is the biggest hill tribe market in the Northwest of Vietnam. Alive with the bright colours and extravagant costumes of the local people, specially the Flower H'mong. Together with other minorities, they come from different villages at the surroundings to buy and sell a wide variety of goods and livestock. It is more common to see buffalo, cows, goats, horses and other livestock being traded. After the market, we make our way to Xi Man town for lunch at a local food store. In the afternoon, continue on driving to Hoang Su Phi. Take about 1-hour hike to Ban Luoc, a Tay ethic village for a homestay night on a stilt house. 

This morning, after the breakfast at the family. We trek the scenic dirt trail up and down the rice terraces in Ban Luoc area. This is one of the national rice terrace heritage cores in Hoang Su Phi. The beauty of the landscape is at its best at the yellow season (early half of October). Get picked up by our car for transfer to Vinh Quang town for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy the beautiful drive to Ha Giang City. Arrive at your hotel in Ha Giang City, check in and take it easy for the rest of the day. Overnight in Ha Giang City. 

After the breakfast at the hotel, we make our way up to the highland of the country's northernmost region. Some of the interesting stops for taking photographs include Quan Ba Pass, Quan Ba's twin mountains (Fairy's breasts).
Lunch is at a local restaurant in Yen Minh town.
The afternoon drive takes you higher and deeper into the karst geo-park. You will make some typical stops at:
- Pho Cao, a H'mong community. Take a stroll around to view the clay house with yin-yang tile rooves.
- Pho Bang, a Han community ancient town. Here, you also take a short walk along a road with old houses.
- Sa Phin valley, where you will visit the famous H'mong King's palace
Arrive at Dong Van town, check in the hotel. Dinner and stay overnight at the town.

Dong Van Karst Plateau is unique combination between Geoheritage and cultural heritages. Up to 80% of the karst formations of Dong Van Plateau are limestone formed by environment conditions and different development stages of nature. The scenery is amazing and the local life and the culture of the hill tribes like the H'mong is something that will be very memorable for your trip. 
If today is on Sunday, we will spend a couple of hour to stroll around the colorful hill tribe market as this is also a great opportunity to learn the local culture and witness the interesting local trading, full of colors. After the market, we get on the vehicle and make our way to Meo Vac. Although the distance between Dong Van and Meo Vac is only 25km but it take us the whole day to our hotel tonight as we have two amazing activities to do on the way. These are trekking on the sky-walk path above Ma Pi Leng Pass for the great view over Tu San Abyss and Nho Que River at the bottom; the second one is taking a motorized boat trip on Nho Que River to enjoy Tu San Abyss Alley, which is known as one of the most magnificent canyons in Southeast Asia.

There is a Sunday market in Meo Vac town, too. You can take this chance if you miss the one in Dong Van.
The morning travel for the rest of the geo-park loop drive is also incredible. The landscape is not less impressive than the day before while you are traveling on a winding road amongst the grey stones. Lunch is served at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we just easily downhill toward Ha Giang City. Check in your hotel for the night. 

After your breakfast at the hotel. The fullday journey takes you back to Hanoi. 
Lunch is on the way. Arrive in Hanoi late in the afternoon and end the tour at your hotel.
